About the Competition
The Let’s Sing Opera Competition is an excellent chance for young opera singers to take off from school directly onto the world’s most significant opera stages.
Enter and win ten online lessons from top opera experts and a 10-day intensive workshop in Italy. Winners will also receive free access to the Let’s Sing Application with many benefits.
An International Jury will select the double solo cast for the staging of Monteverdi’s opera L’Orfeo.
The performances will be held in 2024 in the Czech Republic, Italy, and Greece.
Who can participate
Let’s Sing Opera Competition is open to singers of all voice types between 18 and 38 years old.
Only participants with talent profile on Let's Sing Application could apply. The registration is for free.
How to apply
Only participants who send us all the following materials will be accepted into the first round of the Competition:
Video recordings of 2 opera arias of the participant's choice. Opera arias must be from 2 different operas. Arias are required to be performed in their original language.
Actual participant’s headshot photograph.
A short professional biography in the English language.
Applications must be submitted electronically and only through the official Let’s Sing! Application at the website www.letssing.eu
Submissions open from 10 July, 2023.
Competition procedure
The international jury will listen to every recording submitted and will choose the top 20 candidates to participate in the second Competition round which will take part during the Gala Concert in Italy in November 2023. The selected participants will be announced on the official website and on social media no later than 30 September, 2023.
